Stanton B. Miller
Principal
Stan Miller concentrates his practice in transactional law, counseling clients engaged in a wide variety of business enterprises. He negotiates and prepares business agreements ranging from construction contracts to licenses of intellectual property rights. Mr. Miller has significant experience in negotiating agreements in numerous business contexts, including contracts for construction of public and private facilities, licenses of copyrights in connection with the publication of books, audio books, multi-media and electronic works, and general business transactions (joint ventures, strategic alliances, start-ups, etc.). Mr. Miller served as the Executive Director of the Law Firm Alliance, a confederation of 41 law firms consisting of approximately 2500 lawyers throughout the United States (2000-2004). Mr. Miller authored "What Every Author Should Know About Audio Book Contracts" for the Author’s Guild Bulletin, and "The Do’s and Don’ts of Non-Print Agreements for Tech Publishers," for e-Prairie, Sept. 2004 Mr. Miller served as 1st Lieutenant, Judge Advocate General Corps, United States Army Reserves (1968 – 1974).
